How does it work?
The blood is collected and placed in a special centrifuge that separates the platelets from blood cells. Rich in human growth factors the platelets are blended with a fibrin mixture and injected. Anti-aging results last up to two years and it is FDA approved.
How long does it usually take and what's involved?
The natural procedure is performed in Dr. Balharry’s office in less than 20 minutes and typically yields 4 cc of product – enough for facial contouring. The SELPHYL® System enables the safe and rapid preparation of autologous Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP) and an activated Platelet-rich Fibrin Matrix (PRFM).
